Julianna Pena has some choice words for Ronda Rousey.
Hey everyone, Steven here from The Trend Guys…
Before Julianna Pena even became The Ultimate Fighter 18 winner, she called out Ronda Rousey — talking some smack!
During an interview, Julianna Pena said that she felt like Ronda Rousey was a “spoiled, rich brat,” and that she was “pretentious.” This all went down during an interview on Fox Sports 1.
Julianna Pena is friends with Miesha Tate and also trains with her. In case you didn’t know, Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey are rivals and they’re set to go head-to-head in the Octagon later this month.
After Julianna Pena won TUF 18 she went into more detail about her remarks in regards to Ronda Rousey and she definitely wasn’t backing down in regards to her criticism about the fighter.
Whether Ronda has one penny or $10 million, the point I was trying to make there is she has her nose in the air and she acts like she’s better than everyone else. If [Rousey] was so real, why didn’t she tell me that I didn’t deserve to breathe the same air as Shayna Baszler? Why didn’t see tell me that to my face instead of saying it on camera behind my back? – Julianna Pena
Julianna said that it’s not about how much money Ronda Rousey has or her fame, but it’s the arrogance that Rousey possesses that she dislikes about her.
It’s her arrogance. It’s the way she holds herself, like her [expletive] don’t stink. That was the point I was trying to make. It doesn’t have anything to do with money. It’s the way that she acts. – Julianna Pena
Julianna Pena also wouldn’t mind facing Ronda Rousey in the cage and getting a shot at the belt. She’s only 24-years-old, so she definitely has a lot of time to improve and work her way up the division.
I’m probably like two or three fights away [from a title fight]. Maybe one. Maybe they’ll put me up against the next champ right after this. Who knows? It’s not my decision. – Julianna Pena
It will be interesting to see how well Julianna Pena performs in the UFC. Either way, she’s the TUF 18 winner and that a huge milestone for her, so I’m sure she’s happy right now.
Congrats, Julianna Pena.
But I have to ask….
