Percy Sledge Dead At 73

Hey Trenders! Jax here and I have more celebrity news to talk about. Percy Sledge, the famous R & B singer who’s hit “When a Man Loves a Woman,” has died at the age of 73.  Sledge had been in hospice care for cancer, and the news of his death was passed on from the East Baton Rouge County Coroner’s Office.

There were other hits that Sledge had other then “When a Man Loves a Woman,” and some of those hits were  “Take Time to Know Her, “Warm and Tender Love, and “It Tears Me Up.”

Percy Sledge was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005, and he sang the song at the induction ceremony.

Rest in Peace, Percy Sledge…
