Hey everyone, Steven here from The Trend Guys and I’m bringing you one of the hottest trending topics of today.
Rumors have been swirling around for awhile that Blackberry planned on releasing a new smartphone with a slider keyboard, but no one thought they were crazy enough to make it happen — they were, and we have the pictures.
Blackberry, which was the smartphone to have back in the mid-2000’s, was known for having a full qwerty tactile keyboard, and they’re hoping you miss it so much that you’d be willing to buy a touch-screen smartphone with a slide-out tactile keyboard. Blackberry has teamed up with Android and their cumulative efforts have produced what we now know as the Blackberry Venice.
Twitter user Evan Blass has leaked photos of the new Blackberry Venice and we have to warn you — it looks exactly how you’d expect it to look.
As you can see, this thing looks like the old slide phones from technology past. It looks like the keyboard is going to slide right under the display, until you need it, and then you can just slide the display upward.
Also, the screen itself looks something like the Samsung Edge, which means the display will will wrap around the bezel — sort of.
The projected release date for the Blackberry Venice is sometime in November of 2015.
